A Whole Lot of “Everything”

I am privileged to be part of Mary DeMuth’s Everything book launch team! Right now there is a two-day, 48-hour extravaganza for the sake of pre-ordering her upcoming book,Everything. Why? Mainly as an experiment to see if it helps jumpstart sales when the book releases October 16th. And for your part in the fun, you’ll receive some cool freebies from Mary worth $69.98, including an exclusive PDF of Everything. Which means you get to read it a full month before it releases!

Sometimes it is hard to buy a book you know nothing about. How do you know it’s worth it? If you’re still questioning, check out the following link to Read the introduction and chapter one here.

In Everything, you’ll learn how to make Jesus your everything. The secret? Give Him everything (including control!) and receive everything He has to offer. If you’d like to read the endorsements, click here.

But here’s one just to whet your appetite:

“More than ever, we crave spiritual leadership not from academics in ivory towers but from battle-tested disciples in the trenches. This is the trusted counselor we find in Mary DeMuth. With wisdom and experience and tenderness and beauty, she leads us closer to Jesus inEverything—through despair, past fear, beyond control, and all the way to surrender.“

—Jen Hatmaker, best-selling author of Interrupted and 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess

Here’s how the preorder campaign will work. Simply pre-purchase Everything tomorrow or Thursday (September 19 & 20) from an online retailer and email your receipt to EverythingPromo@ThomasNelson.com. You’ll receive a link to a download landing page manned by Thomas Nelson. They’ll ask for some minimal info (in order to track the efficacy of the campaign) and you’ll have access to these freebies. Simple as that.

Here’s what you’ll get:

  • An exclusive PDF of Everything ($9.99 value) a month before it releases. If you’ve been reading the quotes shared by the Everything Launch Team, and you’ve been meaning to read it, here’s your chance to read it now!
  • One free month to the Bestseller Society Mastermind membership. ($55 value). This is like getting a writers conference in a box, all in one blessed place, for free. I have had the privilege of being a part of Donna Van Liere’s Dream Team which allowed me to receive an advanced reader’s copy of her newest novel The Good Dream to be released next month!

The Good Dream is an engaging story set in Morgan Hill, Tennessee during the 1950’s and is perfect for a summer read! Donna captures you with her gift of story-telling and draws you in to experience the emotions and thrills of each character!

Sarah Ivorie Walker, (who namely goes by Ivorie) is single and being in her early 30’s is already considered an “old maid”! Having spent the last few years caring for her elderly mother, after her passing, Ivorie finds herself a lot more lonely than she will let on to people in her small town. But in spite of being labeled an old maid, she may have just found that “special someone”.

In light of that soon enters a nameless boy who changes everything! In a rush of events he soon finds a way to Ivorie’s heart, but how much will she be willing to sacrifice for this boy?

A truly heartwarming, but by no means a sentimental story,  The Good Dream should find itself on your summer reading list! Donna has done it again, and is not just for Christmas anymore!

Fierce Beauty – Book Review

Title: Fierce Beauty: Choosing to Stand for What Matters Most

Author: Kim Meeder

Rating: 4.5/5.0

“True beauty is not about how you look but how you live.”  the back cover of Fierce Beauty boasts. I have not read a book this powerful in quite some time. Maybe it was God’s timing when it came to receiving the message that is written in this book. Or maybe it was the inspirational stories. Regardless of what it was, this book helped to bring me to a recognition of the position that I have in the Kingdom of God.

Kim divides this book into three parts: 1) The Problem, 2) The King, and 3) The Warrior. Her message is skillfully woven through inspirational stories from her own life and also include many striking truths and revelations that will leave you wanting more.

Ladies, I highly recommend this to be a book on your summer reading list! It will change your whole paradigm on not only your position in the Kingdom, but also give you a confidence in who and whose you are. You’re not just a pretty face, but a warrior who is about to take territory! Fierce Beauty is a call for women to battle the lies and see the truth once and for all – and to learn to stand for what matters most!

C heck Fierce Beauty out today!
